Purpose and function of the headrest

The presented centre rear seat headrest has been designed specifically for installation in the rear cabin, in the central position. Its task is to limit the strain on the cervical spine during sudden braking or collisions, as well as to stabilize the head of the passenger sitting in the middle of the rear seat. This practical solution increases the level of passenger protection and improves seating ergonomics.

Material and interior colour scheme

The headrest is made of upholstery fabric in soft charcoal black, which allows for a consistent match with the standard interior finish of the Ford Focus Mk3. The fabric, in a neutral, dark shade, is easy to maintain and effectively masks typical signs of wear. As a result, this component is suitable both as a replacement for a damaged headrest and as a supplement to missing rear seat equipment.

Original origin and fitment

The headrest comes from the Ford product line, which ensures factory manufacturing standards are maintained and full compatibility with the rear seat backrest structure of the Focus Mk3 model is guaranteed. The original geometry of the mounts facilitates installation and ensures proper guidance of the rods in the backrest, without the need for modifications or adjustments. This is a beneficial solution for both workshops and users servicing the vehicle interior themselves.

Condition and service application

The item is in used condition, making it a sensible choice for post-accident repairs, replenishing missing equipment, or restoring the completeness of the rear seat. The centre headrest allows for the restoration of interior functionality and aesthetics without the need to invest in a new set of seats. This is a practical solution when reselling the car or preparing the vehicle for a technical inspection.

Selection by part numbers and additional support

For precise fitment to a specific version of the Ford Focus Mk3, it is worth referring to the OEM part number and interchangeable numbers, which are listed in the technical specification. This approach minimizes the risk of purchasing an incorrect component and facilitates work for service centres and online sellers.
