Purpose and function of the door handle cover

The presented door handle cover has been designed specifically for the rear body section of the Ford Focus Mk3. The component serves both a protective and aesthetic function – it masks the door handle mechanism, protects it from contaminants, and contributes to the cohesive look of the vehicle's side profile. Thanks to its factory profile, the cover works with the original door opening mechanism, maintaining ergonomic usage.

Color and paint matching Panther Black Metallic – D9

The finish in Panther Black Metallic – D9 corresponds to the popular paint palette used in the Ford Focus Mk3. The metallic black provides a subdued, modern look and blends well with the body lines, reducing the need for additional painting when replacing the part on vehicles with the same color code. This is a beneficial solution for post-accident repairs and spot restoration of the side door areas.

Technical characteristics and installation

The door handle cover belongs to the Door handles group, meaning it has been developed for proper compatibility with the factory door handle and the construction of the rear body section. Its placement in the rear area of the vehicle requires maintaining the correct geometry so that the component does not interfere with seals, the window, or the lock mechanism. The design intended for a specific Ford model allows for installation in place of the factory component without the need for modifications. As a part sourced from dismantling, the cover ensures the retention of original mounting points and shape, which facilitates service work and reduces the time required for fitting. This is particularly important for body and paint repairs, where the precision of fitment with other door panels is crucial.

Practical application in the rear body area

The element intended for the rear part of the vehicle allows for:

• restoring the aesthetics of the door after mechanical damage or scratches,
• maintaining visual consistency with other elements in Panther Black Metallic,
• protecting the door handle mechanism from the influence of external factors,
• reducing repair costs by using an original component from dismantling. For workshops and individual users, this means the possibility of performing repairs according to factory standards while maintaining a reasonable service budget.

Compatibility within the Ford Door handles group

If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the door area in your Ford and need other elements from the same group, such as covers, handles, or additional trims, check the available parts in the Ford Door handles category.

Safety of choosing a used part

Choosing a used body component is often a reasonable compromise between cost and maintaining the original vehicle specification. In the case of exterior components, such as door handle covers, it is crucial that they come from professional dismantling and are compatible with the specific car model. This helps to reduce the risk of installation issues and ensures the proper operation of the door opening mechanism in daily use.
