Purpose and function of the component

The centre console bottom cover is responsible for the aesthetic and technical finishing of the tunnel between the seats, covering structural elements and cable routing. A properly selected trim panel:

• ensures stable mounting at factory attachment points,
• eliminates unwanted gaps and misalignments within the console area,
• protects internal components from dirt and accidental damage,
• maintains the consistent interior design characteristic of Audi.

Original origin and fitment

The panel comes from the Audi brand, which ensures the preservation of factory geometry, mounting points, and compatibility with other centre console components. As a result, installation is predictable, with no need for modifications or reshaping. The OEM part number designation and available interchangeable numbers allow for precise verification of compatibility with a specific version of the Audi A3 8P, which is particularly important when selecting used trim components.

Condition, quality, and service application

The item is offered as used, making it a practical solution for post-accident repairs, replacing a damaged cover, or completing missing interior parts. A used trim panel allows for maintaining visual consistency with other cabin components, avoiding the "new part" effect that stands out from the rest. Thanks to the preservation of the original specification, the product works well both in professional body and paint shops and in workshops specializing in the comprehensive restoration of Audi A3 8P interiors.

Support in selection by VIN and OEM number

To ensure that the selected centre console bottom cover will be fully compatible with your Audi, it is worth relying on the manufacturer's markings and reference numbers. A detailed verification process, along with a list of questions for the seller and practical examples, can be found in the guide on how to select the right car part by VIN and OEM number, which significantly facilitates the error-free selection of interior components.

Why choose this trim panel

Choosing an original centre console bottom cover for the Audi A3 8P primarily means certainty of fitment, preservation of the factory design line, and the possibility of economical interior repair using a used part. The product is suitable both for replacing a damaged component and for filling gaps after previous modifications, restoring a consistent, orderly look to the interior. Additionally, the SKU designation facilitates quick identification of the offer in the store's system, which speeds up the ordering process and minimizes the risk of error when choosing a specific trim panel.
