Purpose and vehicle placement

The presented window is designed for installation in the rear left part of the body, in the passenger door area. The fixed construction eliminates lifting mechanisms, which translates into seating stability and lower susceptibility to leaks. As a result, this component performs well both in daily city driving and on longer trips.

Technical and functional characteristics

The fixed side window in this model is responsible for illuminating the rear part of the cabin and maintaining the proper rigidity of the door frame. The applied AS2 specification indicates a window with properties adapted for use in the side parts of the body, with an appropriate level of light transmission and resistance to damage typical of road use. The element works with factory seals and moldings, which facilitates installation and ensures proper fitment with the bodywork.

Condition, origin, and benefits of choosing a used part

The offered window comes from a Skoda vehicle and is a used component, which allows you to combine factory fitment with a favorable purchase cost. Choosing an original window from dismantling is a good solution for users who want to maintain the visual consistency of the body and avoid compatibility problems typical of lower-quality replacements. A used fixed side window is also a real saving for post-accident repairs or replacing damaged glazing elements.

Why it is worth choosing original Skoda Car windows

Factory Car windows used in Skoda models are designed with precision fitment to the body shape, proper stress distribution, and compliance with required safety standards in mind. In practice, this means:

• secure seating in the door frame and proper cooperation with seals,
• stable optical parameters without image distortion,
• maintaining the factory side line of the vehicle after repair. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the side glazing zone in your Skoda and need other elements from the same group, such as windshields, rear windows, or additional side inserts, check the available parts in the Skoda Car windows category.

Practical installation tips and cost optimization

When replacing a fixed side window, it is crucial to keep the contact surface clean, properly prepare the seal, and check for even pressure around the entire perimeter. It is worth commissioning the installation to a workshop with experience in working with glazed body elements to avoid leaks and unwanted stresses. A well-chosen, used OEM window allows you to significantly reduce repair costs compared to new parts, while maintaining factory performance parameters.
